Gladden’s Grand Slam. Original art roughly 16” x 20” watercolor and gouache. The Minnesota Twins’ 1st World Series Championship, 1987. This was game 1, Saturday, October 17. Dan Gladden hits a grand slam home run to cap off a seven-run fourth inning. - Interesting note: The Twins came into the 1987 season number 13 out of the 14 American League teams. - This piece of art was done for the Twins and WCCO Radio for the 1988 baseball pocket schedule. It was truly one of those great art commissions for me. Art comes with an original pocket schedule.

Sleight-of-Hand. A surrealistic graphite drawing of a hand with hands. Being a sleight-of-hand artist myself, I found this a fun and challenging project.
Picture
New Kid in Town. A graphite drawing of a little boy who just moved into the neighborhood. The commission was for a major ad agency that relocated to the Twin Cities. Like WCCO’s Christmas card, you can see the Rockwell influence. The agency loved the art! By Steven Paul Carlson
